i hope everyone had a merry christmas and will have a good new years. we made it back from portland just in time, after getting stuck in the snow and stranded for quite some time. 

Sad to say, RIP Eartha Kitt.

things i am currently obsessed with:

everyone at work always talks about this show, and it always confused me because wasn't buffy a show from the 90's!? so i had to find out what i was missing and checked out the first season from work. and i am HOOKED. i am really excited that i have a million more episodes to watch, so much more buffy in the near future. 

i have no idea why it took me so long to dive into ebay, but now that i have i'm an ebay monster. not really, but i am finding it pretty fun and i just won something really neat that i can't say because it's a christmas present. but the anticipation of the seconds running out is so nerve-wracking and exciting! 

all i want are some gray cable knit tights! they're really hard to find or maybe i'm just being to picky and broke to get any of the ones i want. but what i wouldn't do for a pair of those. 

i know all of these are things the world has  discovered years ago, but it's nice to find something new even if everyone else has done so already. 

man's best friend.

lots of jean jackets in the shop.  i think they would make a really neat christmas present for any guy. they're really unique, some really old vintage denim jackets from Sears and JC PENNEY.

in the shop now an adorable deer card for the dearest friend! comes individual or in a set of three.

for once i almost have all of my gifts for christmas. this weekend i am taking it easy due to the cold i have. also my brother is getting deployed to iraq next week, so keep him and his safety in your thoughts. the other turtlefriend is in LA for the next week so it's just me and charlie chicken bone.

Doris is really a zine that Cindy Crabb writes. This is ten years of her work compiled into a book. 

Uncle Tom's Cabin

Harriet Beecher Stowe 

This book is so ahead of it's time and it made a huge impact on the way people thought. 

Helmut Newton: An Autobiography 

I was always on the fence about him as a photographer but this book explains so much about him and why he is the way he is. 

It's a really good read.  

jingle bash.

thank you to everyone who came out to the Jingle Bash last night! It was a huge success and then some. That was our first show and we had a great time and hope we can do some more!

our close friends gabe and saidi have been working on a really lovely project, In Tandem Magazine which launched last night! We were fortunate enough to be apart of this and it turned out so beautifully. better than we could ever imagine.

little home.

we are currently being foster parents to a not so little puppy that our friend found on the streets. he is a husky/border collie and the biggest clutz i know. we're hoping to find the owners but nothing has come up yet, though we are falling in love with him. he just had a bath and is now chewing on a new bone, so he is too busy to pay any attention to me.
